Traîtrise

Brutal Assault (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 8)

When Revealed: Each player assigns X damage among characters he controls, where X is the number of cards in his hand.

Shadow: Assign X damage among characters you control. X is the number of cards in your hand.

Mugash's Cunning (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 7)

Revealed: Each player discard the top 3 cards of his out-of-play deck. Add each enemy discarded this way to the staging area. If no enemies are added to the staging area this way, Mugash's Cunning gains surge.

Shadow: Attacking enemy gets +3attaqueand +3defenseuntil the end of the round.

Patrolling Orcs (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 8)

Surge. Doomed 1.
When Revealed: Attach to the current quest. (Counts as a Condition attachment with the text: « Forced: After a player engages an enemy, he must either exhaust a character he controls, or remove 1 time counter from the current quest. »)

Mugash's Rage (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 9)

When Revealed: If Mugash is attached to a hero, the player who controls that hero unattaches Mugash and engages it. Then, Mugash makes an immediate attack.

Shadow: Attacking enemy cannot take damage until the end of the round.

Stifling Woods (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 8)

When Revealed: Either remove 6 progress from the current quest, or remove 1 time counter from the current quest.

Shadow: Attacking enemy gets +1attaque. If this attack destroys a character, remove all progress from the current quest.

Fangorn's Anger (traîtrise - The Voice of Isengard - 9)

When Revealed: If Mugash is attached to a hero, deal 2 damage to that hero. If Mugash is not attached to a hero, Fangorn's Anger gains surge and doomed 2.

Shadow: After this attack, if Mugash is attached to a hero, attacking enemy engages the player who controls that hero.

Begin with the standard quest deck and encounter deck for the The Fords of Isen scenario.

Remove the following cards, in the specified quantities, from the standard encounter deck:

  • 3x Dunland Prowler
  • 2x Dunlending Bandit
  • 1x Dunland Berserker
  • 2x Gap of Rohan
  • 2x The King's Road

Then, shuffle the encounter cards in this Nightmare Deck into the remainder of the standard The Fords of Isen encounter deck.

Finally, flip this setup card over and place it next to the quest deck. Its effects remain active throughout the game, which is now ready to begin.

To Catch an Orc (préparation - The Voice of Isengard - 1)

You are playing Nightmare mode.

Setup: Each player shuffles 1 copy of Vigilant Orc into his out of play deck. Set both copiues of Mugash's Rage and any remaining copies of Vigilant Orc aside, out of play.

Forced: When the players advance to stage 3A, shuffle both copies of Mugash's Rage into the encounter deck.

There they picked up the trail of the Orcs. It needed little skill to find. - The Two Towers

Begin with the standard quest deck and encounter deck for the To Catch an Orc scenario.

Remove the following cards, in the specified quantities, from the standard encounter deck:

  • 1x Methedras Orc
  • 1x Orc Skirmisher
  • 1x Orc Hunter
  • 3x Prowling Wolf
  • 2x Methedras
  • 1x Orc Cave
  • 2x Orc Hunting Party

Then, shuffle the encounter cards in this Nightmare Deck into the remainder of the standard To Catch an Orc encounter deck.

Finally, flip this setup card over and place it next to the quest deck. Its effects remain active throughout the game, which is now ready to begin.

Into Fangorn (préparation - The Voice of Isengard - 1)

You are playing Nightmare mode.

Setup: Each player searches the encounter deck for a Huorn enemy and puts it into play engaged with him. Shuffle the encounter deck.

The Player cannot defeat stage 1B or 2B unless Edge of Fangorn is in the victory display.
